Bee & Wasp Control from Grotec

Protecting you and your family from insect stings
Being stung by a bee, wasp or hornet is a painful experience and can be life threatening to one in thirty people who are allergic to stings. Whereas wasps are more common in Europe and the US, wild honey bees are making up for a majority of insect stings in India. However, it is possible to reduce these risks by taking sensible precautions when outdoors and ensuring that wild honey bee hives or wasp nests are properly managed or dealt with. If you have been stung by a wasp or bee, please refer to our guide to treating insect stings. This also has information about how to avoid being stung when outdoors.
Bee Hives
Take care when dealing with wild honey bees and rock bees - they have a potent sting and can attack in large numbers if disturbed.
If you are experiencing high numbers of bees in your home or garden it is likely that there is a bee hive nearby.
A single bee hive may contain thousands of bees, which can swarm and attack if disturbed. If the location of a bee hive is likely to put people at risk, then the nest should be destroyed.
Bee hives are made from wax that gives them the distinctive yellowish octagonal walls. Wild Honey bees often swarm and build new bee hives once they found a convenient location.
Common sites of wild honey bee hives include under the roof eaves, in lofts, and outside of high buildings, as well as on tall trees.

How to get rid of unwanted wild honey bees
Considering the large size of wild honey bee colonies and the elevated position of the bee hives, it is not advisable to try any DIY products to destroy the bee hive. Wild honey bee swarms are dangerous - if in doubt, seek professional help.
